THE CLUB
The SGA Golf Club (SGAGC) is a golf club without real estate, formed by the Singapore Golf Association, with the objective of:
a. Promoting golf in Singapore
b. Providing opportunities for members to
i) play golf on a regular basis
ii) qualify for and maintain a United States Golf Association (USGA) Handicap Index
c. Organising golf games, competitions and tournaments for the benefit of its members.
The Golfing Sub-Committee
To achieve these objectives the Club has created a Golfing Sub-Committee
responsible for all matters relating to golfing activities of the club.
The current members of the Golfing Sub-Committee are:

The Handicap Sub-Committee
To meet the requirements of the USGA Handicap System, a Handicap Sub-Committee was formed with the following objectives:
a. ensure that the integrity of the handicaps issued by the club is maintained.
b. verify that all acceptable scores are reported for handicap purposes.
c. ensure that verified scores are available for peer review.
This Committee will comprise all members of the Golfing Sub-Committee, and will be chaired by Mr Shahril bin Jumaat. |
